FD 27 Direct Your Football Club FD 27 Updates Hub
Version 0.1 is a living office. Read what changed before you blame the physio.
FD 27: Direct Your Football Club entered Early Access in August 2026 as version 0.1. Two countries, six divisions, and a boardroom loop that already had a demo history behind it. This hub is how you keep the wiki, the Steam news, and your save in the same decade.
Version 0.1 is a living office, not a finished museum. Steam news already moved injury regulation, merchandising weight, museum economics, wage floors, lower-division markets, and day simulation speed. If you treat this wiki as frozen, you will follow advice that a later post already retired. Read the store first when a sentence here and a news post disagree.
Start with the roadmap if you are waiting for Europe, extra leagues, a deeper academy, or create-a-club. Syra Games sketched phases through 2027 and said Early Access should last one to two years from 0.1. None of that is a promise carved in stone. It is the published plan. 0.2 is sketched for November 2026 with a European competition, a Chinese league, and named extra nations. 0.3 is academy depth from roughly age eleven. 0.4 is create-a-club, sketched for May 2027. Later sketches run through a South American pack at 1.0.
Read patch notes if something feels broken: offers that would not create, signings outside the window, sponsorships that never renewed, assembly votes in year two, matchday facility upgrades that skipped the match, English seasons ending in July, youth under-16 promotions, and a pile of translation leftovers from Spanish. Many of those were fixed in public posts. Some player reports (slow days, match audio without picture, offer arrows that do nothing) may still need a later build.
The Early Access review is the honest buyer’s page: mixed Steam sentiment, a 7/10 press take that liked the owner fantasy and penalised the thin map, and the official trailer embedded mid-article. Demo versus full exists because the demo is a separate Steam app and several demo lessons were folded into v0.1.
When a patch changes economy or injuries, revisit staff hire order, how to manage finances, and the first season checklist. A guide that ignores Steam news becomes fan fiction.
This wiki is unofficial. Confirm dates and prices on the Steam store and the links hub. If you just want to play after a patch, Getting Started is still the on-ramp. If you want to know whether to wait for 0.2, the review and the roadmap together are the honest pair.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for the boardroom questions owners actually search.
Is v0.1 the full game?
No. It is Early Access. The office loop works. The map is two countries. See the roadmap.
How long will Early Access last?
Syra said roughly one to two years from 0.1. Treat that as a stated aim, not a contract.
Where do official notes live?
Steam news. We summarise them on patch notes. Always prefer the store post if they disagree.
