FD 27 Direct Your Football Club FD 27 Early Access Roadmap
A published plan through 2027. Not a promise carved in stone.
Syra Games sketched an Early Access path for FD 27: Direct Your Football Club that runs from version 0.1 in August 2026 through a create-a-club phase sketched for May 2027. The studio said Early Access should last one to two years from 0.1. Treat that as a stated aim, not a contract. This page is the published plan as of the Steam posts we could verify. Confirm dates on the Steam store and the links hub. Pair it with patch notes for what already changed inside 0.1.
0.1 — England, Spain, the office loop
Version 0.1 is the build that entered Early Access in August 2026. Two countries. Six divisions: Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, La Liga, Segunda. More than 6,000 players. More than 1,500 staff. More than 100 sponsors. Eight facilities. Four departments. Three save slots. You are the owner, not the coach. If that loop is what you wanted, you do not have to wait. If European nights are a deal-breaker, you do. The Early Access review is the honest buyer’s page.
0.2 — Europe and more leagues (sketched November 2026)
The 0.2 sketch adds a European competition with league phases and knockout rounds, a Chinese league as the first Asian competition, and extra European nations named in the same Steam post: Italy, Germany, France, Russia, Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Czechia, Turkey, Poland and Scotland. None of that is in the 0.1 classroom. Do not plan a 0.2 fixture into a 0.1 save and then blame the engine. Sit in League One or Segunda if you want the office lesson now. See club picks.
0.3 — Academy depth from age eleven (sketched February 2027)
Version 0.1 already has a U19 path with a building lock: coaches stay invisible until the academy exists. An under-16 promotion lock was patched after players slipped through. 0.3 sketches following players from around age eleven, progressive age groups, and international training centres in other countries. Each academy is supposed to carry a regional identity. Details live on the youth academy page. Build the bricks in 0.1 if vision promised a production line. Wait for depth. Facilities is the brickwork. Club vision is the sentence.
0.4 — Create-a-club (sketched May 2027)
Create-a-club is the late Early Access sketch: name, city, crest, kit, starting stadium, founding budget, then a seat in an existing league. Until then, you buy a chair from the six-division menu. Campaign mode already removes the purchase budget. Experience mode lets you sit wider. Neither mode is a custom badge. The dedicated create-a-club page is the honest waiter’s guide. If a custom club is the only reason you opened Steam, wait. If you want to learn wages, medical and shirts, version 0.1 is already a complete classroom.
0.5 through 1.0 — later sketches
The July 2026 roadmap kept going. 0.5 sketches deeper player relationships: fines, internal sanctions, morale that shapes the dressing room. 0.6 sketches selling the current club and taking another at season end. 0.7 sketches internationalising the brand with tours, museums and academies abroad. 0.8 sketches taking the club public, buying or selling the stadium, and deeper loans. 0.9 sketches a president’s life inside and outside the club. 1.0 sketches a South American leagues pack plus the rest of Europe. Treat every date after 0.1 as a published aim. Confirm on Steam. The 0.1 base price was stated at €11.99, with no guarantee it stays there for the whole project.
Roadmaps move. Patch notes already changed injury regulation, merchandising, museum economics, wage floors, lower-division markets and day simulation speed. Revisit this page after Steam news. A guide that treats 0.2 as a date in your calendar is fan fiction. Play the office you have. Keep the first season checklist open. Let Europe arrive when it arrives.
This wiki is unofficial. We will not invent Discord invites or extra nations. We will update the phases when Syra does. Until then, 0.1 is England, Spain, and a boardroom that already punishes a cheap physio six months later.
